DIY Green Cleaning Workshop

Make and take home the following Eco Friendly Products and Recipes:

An introduction on chemicals presented to us by Jana Ronne, (B.Sc B.Ed) followed by a live demo on eco friendly cleaning options by none other than the Soap Dispensary (Main & 70th). Be prepared to get your hands dirty, meet some like minded members from our community and best of all, its FREE.

20 FREE DROP-IN COMMUNITY DANCE CLASSES

Cedar Cottage Neighbourhood House in partnership with ReMYX, MHHS is organizing an Intercultural Community Flashmob that aims to celebrate historical contributions of different ethnic and cultural groups to the development of Cedar Cottage neigbourhood. Seniors' Supper Club
Time: Wednesday 4-6:30pm, Cost: $3
Seniors share supper and stories with others from our neighbourhood.

Cards & Games Drop In
Time: Friday 2-4pm, Cost: free
Share a game of mahjong, crib or cards over a cup of tea. Any age is invited to join our Seniors Cards and Games Afternoon.

Parent and Child Discovery Drop Ins
Locations: Selkirk, Queen Alexandra, Dickens, Beaconsfield and Secord Elementary school, Cost: free
Free program for parents, grandparents and caregivers in the KCC neighbourhoods. Call 874-4231 for times of individual schools

Parent and Child Mother Goose
Times: Saturday mornings, Cost: free, call to register
Rhymes, songs & stories for you and your child 2-3 years old.

First Nations Family Night
Time: Tuesdays 6-8:30pm, Cost: free
Aboriginal families come together to share a meal and enjoy learning traditional arts & crafts and having fun with your children.
